About

Bully Press was founded in 2019 with a profound interest in publishing cool books.

Books we liked, any sort of book; Fiction, Nonfiction, Cooking, Self Help. We don't care, as long as it's cool.

And like our mascot, Binder, the Boston Terrier - We are small, scrappy, and tenacious.

When you see Binder and the name Bully Press... You'll know it's worth a read!

Travis Myers and Natasha Myers Marsiguerra are a brother and sister team who both grew up in New York City.

Travis is a retired New York City Police Detective, and Natasha works for the IBEW (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers) Local 234 in California.

Together they form a perfect team in that Travis, who has more stories to tell than a pub full of Irishman, suffers from dyslexia and abhors anything to do with reading or writing. Natasha, his beloved little sister, is an avid reader of absolutely anything that is put in front of her and has been blessed with the gift of gab. She can out-story just about anyone, in any room, at any given time, and she can also type 60 words per minute. More importantly, Natasha is able to understand where her older brother is coming from, and craft his stories into a readable format.

Together, they weave the Tommy Keane Detective series into well-braided fictional tales that are nearly all based in actual events that they, and their friends and relatives, have lived. Travis and Natasha deliver on their promise to tell gritty, honest stories that are rooted in the everyday lives of everyday people.

Kristina Sarhadi is a writer, therapist, and recovering social worker. A Hudson Valley, New York native, her work combines a lifelong passion for punk music and positive activism with a career in professional service work, focusing heavily on trauma recovery, resilience, and optimism.

Kristina graduated from Vassar College, and went on to pursue a Master of Social Work degree and certification in Holistic Health Counseling as well as several modalities of holistic therapy. She later became a licensed 8th Generation Usui Reiki Master and studied graduate level poetry at UC Berkeley.

She lives in Kingston, NY with her partner, Paul, and their tiny cat named Button.

Praise for Sister Margaret

"From the streets of the Bronx to the Upper East Side, Sister Margaret, offers a tantalizing glimpse of NYC crime where nothing is ever what it seems, and fighting it is anything but routine."
